Amphitheater – Market Creek Plaza

The amphitheater is the focus (heart and soul) of Market Creek Plaza. It is where the community of Southeastern San Diego, with all its ethnic diversity, will come together in a festive celebration of cultures and heritage. The proposed amphitheater is located on the east bank of Chollas Creek.

The amphitheater will seat approximately 600-800 people in the proposed terrace seating and will accommodate more in the adjacent plaza and pedestrian bridge. Each two-foot terrace will be eight feet wide, providing a generous grassy seating area encouraging informal seating for individuals and families
