Ford Alternative Vehicle Education Center
California’s first alternative vehicle/fuel center. The Regional Transportation Center (RTC) will occupy over 32,000 square feet on 1.48 acres of land in the City Heights Redevelopment Area. The RTC is a facility dedicated to displaying, servicing and fueling alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs) while educating the public about alternative fuels. The RTC building is designed as a “high performance building”.
