This facility will be a Recreational Community Sports Center facility located in the hearth of Chula Vista, CA. The complex is a join use with the existing Mae L. Charter Elementary School, the facility will be constructed in the existing sports fields and is to be shared with the school and the community. The building is designed to interact with its users and not as a background. A community walking and jogging trail is integrated into the design of the site and the building; the trail embraces one side of the building, goes through the second floor all the way up to the third floor sports deck.
Scope:
programming, user group meetings, Architecture and Urban Design, consultant coordination, construction documents, construction site observation.
